As your web site is becoming a more and more important part of your companies presence, it is increasingly important that your web site will be found in the Search Engines. Omdesign has extensive experience in optimizing your web site for the search engines, to achieve high rankings. Below you will find several cases of search engine optimization for web sites, with 'before' and 'after' rankings.

Case Nr. 1: www.stoelmassage.nu

This has been one of the first web sites optimized by Omdesign. May 2004, the owner of this domain came to us, because his web site had only a small amount of visitors and ranked low on several important keywords. Because this was, at that time, a startup web site, the owner could use a big boost in traffic and possible leads.

In the chart you will see the ranking results before and after optimization had taken place, for a combination of keywords: 'stoelmassage + behandeling' ('chairmassage + treatment' in english).

Before optimization the web site was only within the top 50 with Ilse, the dutch Search Engine. But on rank 28, which isn"t that good. Just 4 weeks after the optimization had taken place, the web site ranked in the top 10 for all 4 SE's. In 207, 3 years later, it was still in the top 10, and even climbed a few places. Lasting results !

The web site was also optmized for single keyword: 'stoelmassage' or in english 'chairmassage'. In The Netherlands this is a highly desired keyword with a lot of competition. Here are the results:

Again, the web site was no where near the top 50 in every major search engine. After optimization, within 4 weeks, the web site was in the top 20, and with Ilse (www.ilse.nl - the #1 dutch SE) the web site ranked 2. Rankings in the other major search engines continued to get higher in the following months. And at the moment of writing this case, they all rank within the top 5.
